A language training center<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Maison des Langues JAKINOLA is a language training center<\/strong> created and managed by teaching professionals<\/strong>. We offer paid courses<\/strong> and free activities<\/strong> with the aim of promoting learning and cultural exchanges<\/strong>, to preserve and revitalize linguistic diversity<\/strong>. By promoting linguistic richness, we contribute to individual and social well-being<\/strong> and facilitate access to employment for those concerned.<\/span><\/p>\n

An association<\/span><\/h2>\n

Paid language training (Spanish, English, Basque, French, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, German,<\/strong> etc.) is the economic engine of the structure. <\/span>But JAKINOLA is also an association<\/strong> that offers free entertainment – theme evenings, tandems, multilingual aperitifs<\/strong> – to its members to circulate and hear all languages, those from here and elsewhere. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A resource center<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Maison des langues \u200b\u200balso provides its members with a Resource Center<\/strong>, where everyone can continue their learning at their own pace, alone or in company. There are books<\/strong>, dictionaries<\/strong>, methods<\/strong>, board games<\/strong>, computers<\/strong>, wifi connection<\/strong>, tea<\/strong> and coffee<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Digital trends<\/span><\/h2>\n

Our rooms are suitable for teaching in small groups<\/strong>. <\/span>They are equipped with digital screens<\/strong> to be able to use authentic audiovisual documents. We also work with a digital platform<\/strong> that ensures the continuity of courses outside the walls. <\/span><\/p>\n

Our specificity<\/span><\/h2>\n

This hybrid approach<\/strong> – formal<\/strong> and informal<\/strong>, face-to-face<\/strong> and remote<\/strong> – constitutes our specificity. Our teaching is developing today and now, in an interactive and connected world, and we favor learning based both on human relationships<\/strong> and on technological and pedagogical innovations<\/strong>. <\/span>The Maison des Langues’ project is based on the quality of teachers<\/strong> and teaching as well as the accessibility of the place<\/strong>, geographically and financially. It seemed very important to us that this \u201cMaison\u201d be located in a popular district (Saint-Esprit in Bayonne<\/strong>), easily accessible by public transport (train, bus). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our public<\/span><\/h2>\n

Our audience is made up of adults<\/strong> – active and retired – and also children<\/strong>, middle school<\/strong> and high school students.<\/strong> Among the adults are foreign learners<\/strong> who take FLE<\/strong> (French as a Foreign Language) courses on our premises. Our activity is also oriented towards the professional public<\/strong>, notably via the CPF (Personal Training Account). We also recently validated the Qualiopi certification. <\/span><\/p>\n

Our team<\/span><\/h2>\n

The staff of the Maison des Langues is made up of three employees<\/strong>, and has increased its workforce with a work-study student and a Service Civique. We are proud of our teaching staff, made up of around fifteen qualified and dynamic professionals<\/strong>. <\/span>We are constantly diversifying our language offering<\/strong>, offering as many local languages \u200b\u200bas exotic ones.
