Japanese lessons for leisure
“Leisure” lessons are group lessons provided by a professional teacher. We form groups based on your level, assessed during a first meeting, and your needs. The size of the groups does not exceed 10 people. From varied and adapted educational materials, the teacher composes interactive and lively lessons. General objectives:
- Acquire or develop oral fluency, depending on the level
- Develop oral and written comprehension
- Raising awareness of foreign cultures and contemporary societal issues
Group formula - 2019-2020 member: €55/month, €550 per year (from September to June). Rates subject to change depending on the size of the group, contact us.

Individual Japanese lessons
If you prefer to learn Japanese in an individual lesson, that is also possible. The program and the rhythm will be entirely designed according to your needs and desires. Also, the objectives that we will set depend on your expectations.
Depending on the working time you have, we offer independent work, to extend or prepare for the course. Our educational resources are both digitally and physically available for consultation in our resource center. Similarly, training can take place face-to-face, remotely or both (hybrid).
Go at your own pace and according to your needs.
You can also combine a few individual lessons with group sessions, to optimize your training by experimenting with both formats.
Unique formula, 45€ per hour.
Conversation in Japanese
Our courses, leisure or individual, are preferentially focused on oral practice, although punctuated with written and grammatical points, according to expectations. But toput into practice the points covered andimmerse yourself for an hour in the Japanese language and culture, conversation workshops are essential. Paced and moderated by the teacher, these workshops allow the learner to express themselves freely and at length in a caring environment.
It is however recommended, for the good performance of the workshop, to have acquired level B1 to start the conversation workshops. General objectives:
- Develop and improve oral fluency
- Develop oral comprehension
- Raising awareness of foreign cultures and contemporary societal issues

Resource Center in Bayonne
Our Resource Center is available to our members! Central place of the association, it is the main room of our premises.
You can consult newspapers, local information, literary works (all in a foreign language!) or learning manuals in each language that we offer, to complement your lessons. We also provide you with computers connected to the Internet, which you can freely use on our sofa or at one of our tables.
If you are not coming to work on your languages, you can come and say hello to us over a coffee or a tea that we will prepare for you with pleasure.
This is also where we keep the board games that we use during events!
Professional training
Our professional training can take place online or on our premises, and welcome groups of up to 10 people.
Individual Japanese course
We will study your needs and expectations together and thus build an adapted and individualized program. An initial level test will be carried out, and a Bright certification will be given at the end of the course.
Group Japanese course
An audit will be carried out beforehand to collect the needs of each employee and atailor-made program will be created by us. An initial level test for each employee will be carried out, and a Bright certificationwill be given to each at the end of the course.
General objectives:
- Acquire, develop or improve professional communication in French
- Develop oral and written comprehension in a professional context
- Acquire and use specific vocabulary

- Resource Center: access to paper and digital media during the association's opening hours, with the presence of a qualified person who can guide the trainee in his research/work independently.
- Individual coaching in addition to semi-group lessons: throughout the training, the trainee benefits from professional advice to enable him to make the most of his free time.
