The place is friendly with, in addition to classrooms, a common room with free access, you can come to work there or meet there for Tandems. There are also thematic evenings to discover the other languages offered. All these “sides” make learning much more concrete and motivating!
The Maison des Langues de Bayonne is gradually becoming a big family where we like to meet. The atmosphere is friendly and no one is complex about their starting language level. And then the "aperitifs" in a foreign language allow you to practice pleasantly in addition to the lessons.
The premises and the team are pleasant and the possibilities are extensive for those who wish to prolong the experience thanks to linguistic aperitifs and other meetings between students from different linguistic backgrounds. I highly recommend.
Finance your training
When you work, you accumulate training credit, at the rate of €500 per year or €800 for low-skilled work, with a ceiling of €5,000. You can view your available credit in your account.
If your credit is not sufficient to finance your training, you can seek contributions, that is to say additional financing. Professional development counselors and your employer are there to help and support you in these steps.
There are several rules to be aware of regarding the conduct of the training. If you want it to take place during your working time, there are deadlines to respect vis-à-vis your employer. You must request authorization to take training during your working time 2 months before the start of the training if its duration is less than 6 months, or 4 months before if it is more than 6 months.
