Chinese lessons for leisure
We first propose a discussion with the team and the teacher todefine your level and your expectations. We can thus set up the “leisure” course which is a collective course, the number of which does not exceed 10 people. The teacher, as with all courses, is a teaching professional and composes interactive and lively courses, with adapted and varied teaching aids.
General objectives:
- Acquire or develop oral fluency, depending on the level
- Develop oral and written comprehension
- Raising awareness of foreign cultures and contemporary societal issues
Group formula: €55/month, €550 per year (from September to June)

Individual Chinese lessons
To intensify and personalize your learning, it is also possible to choose an individual course. The teacher and yourself build a tailor-made course, at the desired frequency and focused on your needs.
Classes can take place face-to-face, remotely or both (hybrid format). We are equipped with videoconferencing software to ensure distance and digital boards for optimal face-to-face learning. Likewise, our resources are available online or live, in our Resource Center where you are welcome at any time.
Go at your own pace and according to your needs.
You can also combine a few individual lessons with group sessions, to optimize your training by experimenting with both formats.
Unique formula, 45€ per hour.
Conversation in Chinese
Beyond the courses, whether individual or collective, the practice of the language remains essential. This is why the Maison des Langues also sets up conversation workshops, in particular for Mandarin, which is somewhat spoken in the streets of Bayonne.
These workshops are moderated by a teacher so that everyone can express themselves freely, at length and on various topics. Immerse yourself in the Chinese language and culture during an intensive hour of practice!
It is however recommended, for the good performance of the workshop, to have acquired level B1 to start the conversation workshops.

Resource Center in Bayonne
Our Resource Center is available to our members! Central place of the association, it is the main room of our premises.
You can consult newspapers, local information, literary works (all in a foreign language!) or learning manuals in each language that we offer, to complement your lessons. We also provide you with computers connected to the Internet, which you can freely use on our sofa or at one of our tables.
If you are not coming to work on your languages, you can come and say hello to us over a coffee or a tea that we will prepare for you with pleasure.
This is also where we keep the board games that we use during events!
Professional training
Our professional training can take placeonline or on our premises, remotely or face-to-face, and welcome groups of up to 10 people.
Individual Chinese lessons
The Maison des Langues team and the Chinese teacher prepare together a program adapted to the professional needs and ambitions of the trainee. The individual format makes it possible to focus the course on a specific area, technical notions and the professional situation of the trainee, in a very personalized way. We work according to the communication and action methodology and therefore use educational resources linked to the reality of the trainee.
At the end of the training, the trainee can pass the Bright certification which attests to the level reached in Chinese.
Collectvie Chinese lessons
An audit will be carried out beforehand to collect the needs of each employee and atailor-made program will be created by us. An initial level test will make it possible to compose homogeneous and relevant groups. These groups are made up of a maximum of 10 people face-to-face, and a maximum of 5 people remotely. At the end of the training, the trainees can pass the Bright certification which attests to the level in Chinese.
General objectives:
- Acquire, develop or improve professional communication in French
- Develop oral and written comprehension in a professional context
- Acquire and use specific vocabulary
- Raising awareness of foreign cultures in a professional context
