Our tailor-made courses are suitable for all ages (children, teenagers, students, adults and retirees) and at all levels. Our groups, of a maximum of 10 people, ensure optimal learning conditions.
Portuguese lessons for leisure
During the first lesson, we will test your level. Our native teacher offers you quality lessons adapted to the group! General objectives:
- Acquire or develop oral fluency, depending on the level
- Develop oral and written comprehension
- Raising awareness of foreign cultures and contemporary societal issues

Individual Portuguese lessons
Individual lessons are the perfect opportunity to develop your knowledge at your own pace or complete the "leisure" courses. In our center or from the comfort of your sofa by videoconference, we will offer you both personal work and teaching, in addition to offering you access to our resource centre.
Go at your own pace and according to your needs.
Unique formula, 45€ per hour.
Conversation in Portugese
With the teacher to accompany you, our conversation workshops allow you to immerse yourself in Portuguese culture and language with other learners.
Given their nature, the conversation workshops require an average level (B1) to be able to express oneself freely.
General objectives:
- Develop and improve oral fluency
- Develop oral comprehension
- Raising awareness of foreign cultures and contemporary societal issues
Group formula: €30/month, €300 per year (September to June)
Resource Center in Bayonne
Our Resource Center is available to our members! Central place of the association, it is the main room of our premises.
You can consult newspapers, local information, literary works(all in a foreign language!) or learning manuals in each language that we offer, to complement your lessons. We also provide you with computers connected to the Internet, which you can freely use on our sofa or at one of our tables.
If you are not coming to work on your languages, you can come and say hello to us over a coffee or a tea that we will prepare for you with pleasure.
This is also where we keep the board games that we use during events!
Professional training
Our professional training can take place in-house or on our premises, and welcome groups of up to 10 people.
Individual English lessons
We will study your needs and expectations together and thusbuild an adapted and individualized program. An initial level test will be carried out, and a Bright certification will be given at the end of the course.
Collective English lessons
An audit will be carried out beforehand to collect the needs of each employee and atailor-made program will be created by us. An initial level test for each employee will be carried out, and a Bright certification will be given to each at the end of the course.

- Acquire, develop or improve professional communication in French
- Develop oral and written comprehension in a professional context
- Acquire and use specific vocabulary
- Raising awareness of foreign cultures in a professional context

Drawing on the diverse experiences of the members of our teaching team, at La Maison des Langues, we combine several approaches to get the best out of them and provide a tailor-made solution for each person. Thus, we are talking about a personalized hybrid learning environment.
- Individual diagnosis (strengths, weaknesses, objectives etc depending on the time available…)
- Face-to-face, distance or hybrid courses: focused on oral production with a qualified and experienced trainer (reverse class system, reception activities are encouraged outside of attendance time).
- Distance Learning Device, in support of face-to-face courses
- Resource Center: access to paper and digital media during the association's opening hours, with the presence of a qualified person who can guide the trainee in his research/work independently.
- Individual coaching in addition to semi-group lessons: throughout the training, the trainee benefits from professional advice to enable him to make the most of his free time.
